Dear Ian,
My name is BK. In June 2003 my girlfriend and myself walked in to your shop and you greeted us with a smile and kindness that we had not really experienced in oz (being pasty white poms in-all). I was looking for a board that i could improve my skills on.
Anyway we talked about my experience(or lack of) for a while, and after about twenty minutes you picked out a two tone blue, original Ian Chisholm 9'4" performer.
In that twenty minutes you made my whole traveling experience, you made it all worth while. You could have sold me your most expensive board and made a tidy profit knowing that I would be leaving town in a matter of days but you didn't, THANKYOU. Since that day me and "Baloo" have surfed bells, winki, snapper, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and most of England.
Now i live on the isle of wight, and this morning like most mornings I checked the surf and it was flat like most mornings, so I bought Carve mag and in it saw your advert, so I thought I would drop you a line.
Well done with the expansion, one thousand sold is a vast improvement on 100.
I'm now back at uni studying media and cinematography so i can make surf and nature programes.
Anyway better go. I hope your business goes from strength to strength.

Sorry. Maybe my e-mail was something wrong. Anyway yesterday I received my board and I like it! Thank you for your arrangement. This time I think I can get my board very smoothly. I'm really appreciate your job. I'm looking forward to coming day (maybe E/Apr) to surf. When I'll go beach, I'll take photos again. And someday, I'd like to visit your shop! Thank you very much.

Awesome
Ian.....I received my Dane peterson model (with deck patch) from Greg at Bennetts the other week...just want to let you know that it is one awesome board... it is great on the nose... and is nice and loose at the tail...I haven't used any of my other boards since receiving it.

Dear Ian,
We got new computers today and have watched the grass roots.
It's so great and I suppose you made a big effort to complete the DVD. Making surfboards scene and surfing scene are well balanced and edited. Dane's surfing is really good and fish tail scene is fun also.
We are glad Dane and your team riders surf wearing our wetsuits and your wearing cap looks good. Thank you for thinking us.
I'm looking forward to seeing you when you come to Japan after your busy working.

quality workmanship
To Ian and team, I ordered a board (red and blue flashes down rails) a while ago through Mid Coast Surf in Adelaide. I picked it up probably 5-6 weeks ago and after riding it in various conditions since then I can honestly say that I am stoked with the board. It nose rides well, turns on a 5c piece and has got an amazing amount of speed out of any longboard I've riden before. Workmanship is also exceptional. Love the rails and concave design up at the nose. Well done South Coast. My next board will definitly be another South Coast!

sorry for delay getting back to you
today i rode home to canggu from Kuta on my silver vespa with a 9'4" baby
blue performer southcoast longboard sitting proudly in the board racks...and
arrived home safely...was a super windy day and i nearly took off twice
....like the kites in the sky
i decided to get the board here in Bali, this board is too beautiful, so i
had to grab her on the spot.
the spray was as if I'd custom ordered anyway.
tommorrow i'll take here down the road for her debut and will keep you
posted
will send you some art soon and also a great pic of me in the ricefields
with your board
you should be really proud of your work...they are works of art. I know i'll
have years of fun ahead of me with the new board

hey its Steve Griffin here just letting you know i recieved the board today. its looks unreal top job mate, and the fin fits sweet in teh finbox, most boards i get the fin is too tight or something. neway thanks again mate it looks great.

Picked up the board tonight (I have been in Noosa) from Bennett's. The board looks absolutely fantastic - trouble is, my wife likes it more than I do. She is talking about starting surfing (shame, as it is my only respite - so thanks very much).
Seriously, thankyou very much, I'm sure the board will go as good as she looks.
You also have a very good representative in Greg at Bennetts, he is a great guy.
